aside from my usual grumblings

i had a mini vacation when my folks flew over :)

and in order to make it seem like a real vacation, i crashed their hotel room,

somehow hotels just make u feel u are really on a vacation.

bare minimum hotel but its still cosy

and they had an extra bed at the other side of the room, so why not.

so i tried to plan a trip to mornington

tt place tt i didnt get to go the other time

yea, and it was basically a mini disaster

cos i thought the train would bring us there and some public bus will bring us to the farms

but no, u need a car, and the bus dropped us at the outskirts near the freezing beach

so welcome to barnarring village=)

it took an hour by train another hour by bus just to get into mornington

and we didnt get to see vineyards etc

cos we got on the wrong bus as well and it tooked 2 hrs for another to come, so oh wells.

its actually a pretty nice village
and we ended our trip with hot chocolate and laksa king! yums

the next day was to brunswick, behind my house

isnt it so nice that the fountain looks so big as compared to my parents

when i first saw this i didnt actually "see" much

but my dad wanted to take a pic

and this is the only grafitti wall that he was willing to

and turns out, its really such a pretty pic after seeing it now.

and i brought housemate back to take another one ahha.

brunswick-a food haven near where i live=)) but its terribly ex

yums hot chocolate again

and super spicy sichuan dinner=) i LOVE IT. every peanut of it haha yea the chicken was cooked with peanuts. lovely=)

the slippers they left me with. the flowers one belong to my grandma, it reminds me of her. nice.

and sat was fun. terribly. more pics up soon=)
